Refund Policy

1. Free Trial
Every new user receives a 14-day free trial of the Pro plan with all features unlocked. No credit card is required to start your trial. You will not be charged during the trial period.
2. Refund Eligibility
If you are not satisfied with Upwork Scout after subscribing to a paid plan, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first paid charge. This applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions.
3. How to Request a Refund

Please include your account email address and the reason for your refund request. We value your feedback and use it to improve our service.
4. Processing Time
Refund requests are typically processed within 5–10 business days. Once approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
5. After Refund
Upon refund, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan. You will retain access to free features but will lose access to Pro or Business features. Your settings and data will remain intact in case you decide to resubscribe.
6. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds are generally not available in the following cases:
- Requests made more than 14 days after your first paid charge
- Subsequent billing cycles after the initial 14-day refund window
- Violations of our Terms of Service
- Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us
7. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. When you cancel, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
8. Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase. After the 14-day window, you may cancel your annual subscription but will not receive a prorated refund. You will retain access until the end of your annual billing period.
